One Week Out!

Hello friends and family!

The adventure of a lifetime I have been looking forward to since I first heard about study abroad is almost upon me. Yes, I am a bit nervous. But any lingering concerns about jumping into the unknown are greatly overshadowed by the immense excitement that also comes with that jump. Just one week and I will be in the beautiful and historical city of Seville, Spain! This morning I received my homestay assignment and I will be staying just a short 12 minute walk from the University of Seville in the heart of the city with two Spanish sisters and my study abroad roommate from Ohio, Miranda.

Despite how little time remains before my departure, it still hasn't truly hit me that I am leaving the country! I need to get packing... During my last week in California, I will be spending my time horseback riding of course, and reading El Alquimista to get in the zone. 

I will keep this blog updated as best I can throughout the next four months for those who are interested. Don't forget you are all welcome to come visit me! :)
